My Digital Art

Digital art is an artistic work or practice that uses digital technology as an essential part of the creative or presentation process.
Generally, the term digital artist is used to describe an artist who makes use of digital technologies in the production of art. In an expanded sense, "digital art" is contemporary art that uses the computers to "paint" color onto a digital "canvas" using programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, and many others. These images can be printed onto traditional canvas or paper.
Furthermore, digital painting is not 'computer-generated' art as the computer does not automatically create images on the screen, the artist uses his own painting technique to create the piece of work on the computer.  The idea of creating art wherever and whenever is fascinating for me.  Increasingly I’m interested in the process of painting on my computer, laptop, iPad, and even on my iPhone itself because it lets me experiment with changes in the world that we live in today.
Andy Warhol created digital art using a Commodore Amiga where the computer was publicly introduced at the Lincoln Center, New York in July 1985.
“Painting is a mode of creative expression, it’s a form of inspiration, an invitation to curiosity, an opportunity for new insights and the forms are numerous”.
